Partnerships for better health and care
The Race Equality Foundation have received a Section 64 grant to work with Primary Care Trusts, Social Services Departments and Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary organisations on the Partnership for Better Health Project.
Young People’s film project
The Race Equality Foundation has received funding from the Department for Children, School and Families to undertake an exciting new project with young people using filmmaking techniques. For more information see the Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities section.

Abu newsletter
The latest issue of the Abu newsletter, which supports black and minority ethnic fathers in their parenting role, is now available.
Black and minority ethnic parents and carers shown to participate in and benefit from parent education programme
‘The course has given me confidence to make choice in how I bring up my children, stay with them and be happy about them’ (participant).
The Race Equality Foundation today published the results of an independent analysis of the impact of the Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities parent programme. The report shows that the Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities programme has engaged parents from a range of ethnic backgrounds, including; African Caribbean, African, Asian, Chinese and Mixed Heritage, as well as White communities.
