Building better life: improving the knowledge and practice in housing provision to black and minority ethnic communities' conference - London
The conference took place on 16 February 2007 in London. The event provided an opportunity to explore evidence on the health needs and experiences of black and minority ethnic communities as well as how to improve policy and practice. The event enabled delegates to:
- Develop a critical understanding of the extent and content of evidence on housing inequalities;
- Explore examples of what can work to improve housing provision for black and minority ethnic people;
- Share knowledge on how to bring about change in the provision of housing for these communities; and
- Provided a forum for networking and action planning amongst front line staff, managers and their organisations.
