African Caribbean men and mental health workshop - 11 July 2007
The Race Equality Foundation along with South West London and St Georges NHS Trust and Servol organised a workshop for practitioners on 11 July 2007. The workshop explored issues for African and Caribbean men and mental health.
The aims of this event were:
- To hear and discuss key messages and evidence about African and Caribbean men and mental health
- To identify how practice can change
- To highlight the importance of service user involvement in change
- To explore the role of preventive and support services in bringing about change
